Red Bull Tribalquest
In February 2008 for Red Bull Tribalquest, skiers and snowboarders will be searching for the most fascinating photo depictions.

Bizarre dress, body ornaments and archaic customs; evolutionary conformity to an inhospitable habitat; hierarchical constellations based on initiation rites, and nightly dancing rituals to bacchanal music: it’s a tribe, fascinating from an anthropological point of view, whose traces Red bull tribalquest will direct its attention to from february 18 to 22, 2008. the noble goal of the expedition taking place in nendaz, switzerland, is to collect the most authentic photo material possible; the clan under examination is called ‘free skiers and snowboarders’.

Task: the three W's

 The pictures, both insightful and action-filled, will be taken by seven competing teams of three: a snowboarder, a free skier and a photographer. the goal of each team is to shoot the best photos in the categories ‘Who am i?’ ‘where am i?’ and ‘what am i doing?’ – and to pick up the respective prizes at the award ceremony, which will take place on the last day of the event.
